The Infrastructure expert/ System Support Specialist is responsible for undertaking proactive maintenance and administration of Server support on 2nd level (approximately 6000 servers globally), File and Print activities, AD content support, Security on servers, focus on scripting due to automation activities. Participate on migration projects like File/Print sharing services.

• Responds to and resolves issues with both the regional and global infrastructure server environment setup hosted within the ITS – 2nd level of Windows server support
• Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
• Has acquired an appreciation of the wider field of ITS outside his/her own specialization and has developed a good broad understanding of computer system architecture
• Within a limited time horizon, is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work competently
• Consults as required on a project by project on server specification and capacity adhering to Global standards. Provides advice to users on systems, products and services which are available to them

• Administration of Windows, 2008, 2012, 2016 servers on 2nd level
• On a day-to-day basis resolve incidents concerning OS and HW
• Management of File and Print Servers, participate on Files/Folders and Print migration Projects
• Management of Security on servers based on client's Security policy
• Managing of Group Policy, Login scripts, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS
• Continuous improvement of existing RUN service (e.g. automation via scripting).
• Oversees the administration of all applications on Windows based servers by using appropriate monitoring tools
• Ensures continuous support is provided regarding operating system, software and hardware issues by answering questions and/or resolving problems
• Frequent contact and collaboration with IT support colleagues globally (EMEA, APIS, AMIS)
• Documenting of activities and processes in own area for purposes of Knowledge Capture

• Proficient knowledge of server administration skills (Windows 2008, 2012, 2016)
• At least understanding of Scripting languages (VB script, PowerShell)
• Proficient in Active Directory domains content support
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 3 years IT experience
• Minimum 1 years in similar role

• Group Policy, Login Scripts, Symantec Antivirus, Microsoft SQL DB, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, clustering technologies from Microsoft and Veritas NetBackup, File storage (NAS)
• Advance Scripting Languages (VB script, PowerShell)
• Global Service Now, ITIL, Change Management process understanding
