Our Client, a Global Lifesciences company is Primary looking for Legal & Compliance – Specialist to closely provide professional legal support by assisting our Corporate Legal Team with a wide range of tasks. Responsibilities include Liaising with Management team for legal support. This role demands a strong subject matter expert in Legal and Immigration Laws. This individual will draft legal and business communication, conduct general file and database management, gather documents, respond to discovery requests, and respond to legal inquiries. This role will be reporting to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Provide prompt, accurate legal support and assistance to Management and client groups
• Serve as a liaison to internal and external constituents, including but not limited to, providing copies of contracts to Accounts Payable
• Maintain, update and oversee contract database and tracking of in-house counsel significant matters
• Review and coordinate contract renewals and terminations
• Prepare and send contracts for electronic signature
• Review and maintain company’s compliance calendar
• Proofread, edit and prepare legal documents specifically for consultants
• Perform related duties as required
• Liaison with hiring managers to stay abreast of hiring and business needs
• maintain current knowledge of applicable guidelines and laws
• coordinate with attorneys on visa and other immigration issues


The requirements for this position include:
• Experience working in the legal field required
• Prior experience in legal field, ideally with exposure to contracts and contract drafting and contract preparation
• Strong organizational skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize competing demands
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to understand legal terminology and contracting principles

Minimum Required Education and Experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 10+Years professional experience with a proven successful track record in handling Legal, Compliance and Immigration records.
• Strong subject knowledge in US laws and regulations
• MBA or equivalent degree in Legal will be preferred
