In this role, you will be helping to maintain the Quality system of our client in Switzerland, and technically supervise and overview all operations related to trading, distribution and transport of medicinal products including active pharmaceutical ingredients abroad and in Switzerland.

Main tasks:

• Issue and review SOPs in the area of responsibility, manage the SOP system and related documents.
• Perform training of SOPs, regulations, general GMP/GDP aspects, as well as manage the training matrix for the Swiss business.
• Support the QP in reviewing, tracking and updating of quality agreements with customers and vendors.
• Manage, review and approve change controls and deviations.
• Perform routine checks to ensure the quality and traceability of the goods traded.
• Manage and follow up on transport complaints.
• Track CAPAs and other audit commitments.
• Raise and monitor Quality KPIs for CH and partly EU.
• Participate in inspections by the Swiss health authorities.
• Plan and participate in internal audits.
• Participate in external audits of service providers or CMOs, support the coordination

Requirements profile:

Technical skills:

Knowledge of applicable regulations and directives, GMP/GDP, Quality Management Systems, technical understanding in pharmaceutical processes and equipment, good knowledge in MS Office and possibly SAP, fluent English required (oral & written), good skills in German language desired (oral).

Education and experience:

Degree in science (e.g. BSc or equivalent), with minimum 2 years of experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry and related Quality Assurance tasks / or combination of vocational education and several years relevant work experience

Working in a self-responsible manner, attention to detail, reliable and trustworthy, good written and verbal communication skills, influencing skills, excellent ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and hierarchical levels in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
